Marcel Koller, Al Ahly head coach, expressed his happiness after the tram achieved a 1-0 victory over Ismaily in our first match in the Egyptian Premier League this season. 

Koller stated that it was a strong game, but the team was keen to start the league with a win. 

"Ismaily are a strong team and they tried to score many times. We prepared very well for the game and we deserved to win, even if we scored one goal only", Koller said. 

"Every win gives the team great motivation. We missed several chances today, but we are working on correcting our mistakes. We want to score all the chances and not miss any", our coach added. 

Koller concluded by praising Karim Fouad's performance tonight.

"Karim is very fast and we needed his pace to create more chances on the sides. He managed to deliver a good assist tonight".
